Depart from Funchal and venture north to the scenic town of São Vicente. Begin your journey at São Vicente’s waterfall, a delicate cascade reminiscent of a bride’s veil. Continue along the coast to Seixal, a hidden gem with a striking black volcanic sand beach, voted among Europe’s top beaches. Nearby, Poças das Lesmas offers an almost mystical setting with ancient lava formations against the Atlantic Ocean.
