Join a day trip to Teide National Park, home to Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain, standing at 12,198 feet (3,718 meters). You’ll be picked up from your hotel and driven through the island’s stunning countryside, passing through quaint Canarian villages and striking landscapes before reaching the national park.
Once at the park, you’ll board the Teide cable car for an 8-minute ride to the summit station, located at 3,555 meters. From here, you can hike several trails, including paths to the Pico Viejo Lookout and La Fortaleza Lookout, both offering stunning views of the island’s northern and southern coastlines.
For those wanting to go higher, the Telesforo Bravo trail leads to the highest point of the volcano at 3,718 meters. Please note, to reach this peak, you’ll need to apply for a permit in advance.
