FAQ's
How do the three routes work?
You get access to all three 1-hour routes with one ticket: City Tour (historic center), Nymphenburg-Olympic Park (palaces and modern landmarks), and Schwabing (artsy, green district). Buses are color-coded and run on separate loops. Hop between routes at shared stops like Hauptbahnhof or Odeonsplatz. Full schedules are posted at stops and on the app. The 2-day ticket allows deeper exploration. No need to pre-book routes—just board the desired color.
Can I start the tour at any stop?
Yes, redeem your voucher at any of the 16 stops between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM (4:30 PM in winter). The main hub is Luisenstraße 4 near Hauptbahnhof, where staff assist with activation. Show your digital or printed ticket to the driver. Once activated, hop on/off freely. The ticket starts timing from first use. Staff wear branded uniforms for easy spotting.
Is the audio guide in my language?
Audio commentary is available in 8 languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Russian, and Danish. Select your language when receiving headphones. The system auto-plays at each landmark. Host/greeters speak 7 languages (English, French, German, Norwegian, Russian, Spanish, Japanese) for live assistance. Headsets are sanitized. If your language isn’t listed, English is recommended.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all buses have low-floor access and space for one wheelchair on the lower deck. Ramps are deployed by the driver. Upper deck is not accessible. Most stops have level boarding. Inform staff when boarding. Folding wheelchairs are preferred. No advance booking needed, but arrive early during peak times. Alternative private accessible tours available upon request.
What’s the difference between 1-day and 2-day tickets?
The 1-day ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use, ideal for a focused visit (e.g., City Tour + one other). The 2-day ticket gives 48 hours, perfect for covering all three routes leisurely, including Nymphenburg’s gardens or Olympic Tower climb. Both include unlimited hop-on-hop-off. No route restrictions. The 2-day option offers better value for extended stays.
